Easily install an alternative firmware on your smartphone

       You have "an old Android smartphone" on which version of the system has not been updated for months or even years? You want to give a facelift to this smartphone but you're not techie? The solution exists :)

CyanogenMod , one of the most popular alternative firmware Android on Google Play offers an application that should make you happy. Called CyanogenMod Install it you will not guide you through the installation of this firmware. No need to be a computer pro just have bases and follow the instructions.

This firmware is not available on all Android smartphones have emerged, only number of devices are compatible with this install CyanogenMod but the most common are as the Samsung Galaxy (S2, S3 range, S4, Note, Note 2, Note 3), a lot of Nexus (Galaxy, S, 4, 7, 10) and the HTC One. If this number of device is currently fairly limited, compatible devices having sold tens of millions of copies worldwide, some of you should be in the lot :)

In our case we tested it successfully on an old Galaxy S3. The procedure proved to be generally easy although it still requires a Windows PC to operate. An alternative that we would recommend if you have an old smartphone lying around in a drawer to give it a facelift.
