Nearly 50% of devices are in the Android version Jelly Bean

The Android Developer site gives us, as every month, the numerical distribution of Android versions on smartphones and tablets:
the version of Android Jelly Bean is installed on nearly half of Android smartphones and tablets.
Android users do not react as Apple users: they overwhelmingly download the new versions from their deployment, while earlier versions of Android may have long life.
But since August, the figure contradicts habits: 48.6% of devices are in Jelly Bean, rate uncommon popularity among Android.
However, the growth curve of version Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is running out of steam: certainly to make room for the next version of Android 4.4, KitKat .
But it is clear that change is taking place: the versions of Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich for example, are less used in favor of newer versions.
It is possible that as and when new versions, users react more like the iOS versions and try to always get the latest version for the smartphone and tablet.
